The first in the budget list is RX 580 by Radeon which is also the best gpu for mining crypto in 2021 and is the most used gpu for mining in large mining farms. The emphasis for budget GPUs is lesser power consumption and more performance. RX 580 provides a 32.2 Mh/s hashrate using 140W power consumption with a very small budget.

Like any flagship GPU, the 1080ti was very expensive when it came out (around $1000). Theoretically, it was the best GPU for mining, but miners avoided it because of how expensive it was at launch. However, this card has been around for a few years now and there are a lot of offers for it on the second-hand market.

Pros of Nvidia GTX 1660 6GB Ti: Next we have RTX 1660 6GB, which is a slightly older mining card, and uses DDR6 memory. This comes in as a good budget option for some, as these cards can be found for well under $300, and they use notably less power at just 75 Watts. This card could be a great contender for a rig made of several, cheaper cards.

Crypto miners aren't the only ones crowding the graphics card market; scalpers have entered the market looking for monetary gain as well, although they employ different tactics to meet their ends. Scalpers resell goods for a quick (and usually large) profit. Graphics cards are currently desirable products for scalpers because they can be resold at a high prices to desperate consumers.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 isn’t just a great graphics card for gaming, it’s also an excellent mining GPU. This is because it manages a high hash rate of around 30 mh/s without needing too much power. Remember, the more power a GPU requires, the more expensive it is to run, which will eat into your cryptocurrency profits. As with many recent Nvidia GPUs, the 1070 is on the pricey side, so you will have to take an initial hit when starting up, but if you’re into cryptocurrency mining ...

The short answer is yes. The long answer… it’s complicated. Bitcoin mining began as a well paid hobby for early adopters who had the chance to earn 50 BTC every 10 minutes, mining from their bedrooms. Successfully mining just one Bitcoin block, and holding onto it since 2010 would mean you have $450,000 worth of bitcoin in your wallet in 2020.
